This is a poem/ letter I wrote to my Grandma many years ago; please excuse the not so good art work done by me.
She displayed it on her wall. She passed away on 2/20/2020. I just got the courage to look at it.
I feel given the state of the World this is something we can all strive to be like including myself.
Here it goes:
Dear Grammy:
I admire you in many ways. Despite loss you never wallowed in self-pity; qualities I hope to be.
Light dispels darkness; to this World you are a harness.
In a World filled with greed; you spent your time helping those in need with strength, love, generosity & grace.
You have made this World a better place!
Love, April xoxo π

Beautiful!

April, I am enjoying this so much! This letter to your Grandmother is so precious. How many grandchildren love their grandparents but never put it into writing like this. This must have meant the world to her. And now it must be invaluable to you that you expressed yourself in such a loving way to her. No regrets. Congrats on such a great blog especially at a time when a lot of us are questioning what is going on in the world and how will we survive it. All the best to you. Keep writing!

Thank you so much Carolyn I was so afraid to write thinking nobody would find me interesting but I had to let that go. Your support is so much appreciated you have no idea. π
